1880 to 1910 is known as the Transitional period when Navajo weavers were going from making blankets to making rugs. This fine example of a transitional Navajo weaving uses bands of warm colors with zigzags marvelously contrasted against alternating bands of white.

  • Description: Classic 5-Panel Layout. The Center Panel Is Wine Red, Through All Panels Are Serrated Zigzags. The Other Four Panels Have A Turkey Red Color
