This Month’s Featured Navajo Rugs
June 2023
Well, I have almost gotten my accounting practice closed and look forward to having more time to search for rugs and other Navajo weavings.
NEW WEAVINGS
# 1195 is a great table runner that measures 75″ x 20″; it will add fabulous style to your at home dining. Circa 1930, it has six white bears down its center; are they Polar Bears? It is the only Navajo weaving that I have seen with Polar Bears.
# 1197 is a Single Yei surrounded by four distinct borders. It is 73″ x 42″ and circa 1930. It will show great on your floor or wall.
FEATURED RUGS
# 735 is a Toadlena Two Grey Hills Navajo weaving; the best of its kind we have ever offered; circa 1930, it measures 43″ x 62″. It was exhibited at the Kings Art Center in 2021.
# 1194 is a large Ganado Navajo rug that measures 99″ x 67″ inches and is circa 1930. It will make a great floor rug.
That is all for this month.
